Advertise in Malta Living: a billboard on Malta's roads, or Bonġu!'s sponsored card
Can you advertise in a life sim? In Malta Living, the free life sim of Malta you play in your browser, you can: 42 roadside billboards stand along the map's main roads, and the island's morning paper has a sponsored card. Both are open to real businesses and to players promoting their character's business alike, and both are paid for with real money by card, never with game euros.

The billboards
Forty-two boards stand beside the roads players walk, drive and ride along, from Mellieħa to Marsaskala, with one on Gozo (the bigger map added sixteen of them). Each shows one ad at a time, booked by the week, at €25 a board a week. A board with no ad says "Your ad here"; one in four shows one of the game's own posters instead. A paid ad carries a small AD tag, and tapping it opens your link.
Views are counted honestly: once a viewer, a board and a day, whether they walk up to it, pass it on a trip or see it zoomed out from drone height. Visitors reading the website without an account count too. In the week before this post, the boards had over 5,000 views between them, and every board shows its own views for the last week before you book it.
Booking from inside the game
Tap any board, or the Ads chip on the map for Boards across Malta. The booking is one screen: add your picture (any shape shows whole, never cropped; a wide picture of 1,600 by 800 fills the board), add your link (it must start with https), and pick one to four weeks, starting this week or any of the next four. Got a discount code? Tap "Have a code?" before you pay, and the old price shows crossed out. You pay by card through Stripe, so your card details never touch the game, and the ad goes up as soon as the payment clears, or on the day you booked.
As you pass a board that's free this week, a small chip says so, with Book it; ✕ puts it away for the day.
Booking without a player account
Businesses don't need to play. The page at maltaliving.world/advertise shows every board on a map: tap the ones you want, or say how many and the server places you on the boards with the fewest ads. Add your business name, an email for your receipt and your stats, and a phone number if you like. Same prices, same card payment, same rules. A board marked "Held till …" is being paid for by someone else at that moment; if they don't pay within the hour, it's free again.
Bonġu!'s sponsored card
Bonġu! is the morning paper every player opens, and how it works is a post of its own. Its sponsored card sits among the day's stories, marked "Sponsored", and up to four sponsors share it in a week, taking turns: each time someone opens the paper, the next one shows. It costs €15 a week. You write a headline of up to 40 characters, a line of up to 80 and a short note of up to 240 for its own page, and add your picture. It shows in the game and on the public page at maltaliving.world/new, where anyone can read the paper without an account.
My Ads: what your ad is doing
Once you've bought a board from inside the game, the My Ads app appears on your phone. It shows each ad's time left, its views, opens and link taps since it started, today's share, and the last seven days as small bars. See it on the map takes you to the board. While an ad runs you can change its picture or link, free. Extend adds a week when the week after yours is free; My Ads says "Extension waiting for payment" until you've paid, then "Booked again till …" once it's booked.
Why real money only
Billboards and the sponsored card are the game's income, and they're kept apart from game euros on purpose: nobody can buy their way onto the roads with in-game wealth, and a real business always competes on equal terms with everyone else.
The rules
Ads that break the rules are taken down without a refund: no scams, no adult content, no coins or tokens, no selling accounts, and nothing pretending to be Malta Living. No gambling-operator ads for now. The full terms are a tap away before you pay.
Running a real event? List it free
Organising a real event in Malta? The same page has "List it in the game, free": the event's name, where and when it is, and its page. The team checks it and lists it in What's on and on the map at the place it happens, with a countdown on the pin. No payment and no account.
The whole game, and why its places are the island's own, is in the Malta life simulator guide.
