Bike repairs and scooter recovery in Malta Living

By

Bike repairs in Malta Living give your everyday journeys an occasional setback and a choice about what happens next. A flat tyre need not end the evening. You can spend game euros for a quick repair, put in a little time yourself, or use another way to get around while that bike waits.

You find these choices in Cars → My garage, alongside the bike they affect. The current place panel shows them too, so you can deal with a problem where you arrive. Nothing needs a new app, and a missing scooter stays listed in your garage rather than disappearing from your belongings.

A flat tyre in Cars with a paid repair and a free three-minute patch

A puncture after the ride

You arrive safely before a puncture takes the bike out of use. A city bike costs €8 to repair, an e-scooter €15, an e-bike €25 and a motorbike €60. The paid repair takes 30 seconds, with the price shown before you confirm it.

Short of cash? Patch it yourself is free and takes three minutes. The timer keeps running if you close the game. When it finishes, that same bike is available again. You keep its original purchase history and its ordinary value; a repair does not turn used wheels into a new vehicle.

Until then, that bike cannot be ridden, sold or sent out for Wolt. Another bike remains available, and walking, the bus and eCabs still follow their usual rules. You can plan around the delay rather than having every journey stopped by one flat tyre.

A close call, without an injury

A near miss leaves you and your bike safe. Take a 15-second breather, or carry on straight away with three fewer Fun points. It is a small interruption that asks whether saving those seconds matters more than shaking off the moment.

Personal incidents are limited to one per account per Malta day, across all your bikes. Your first 24 hours after buying your first bike are protected too. Deliveries already out for Wolt keep their existing repair deductions; these new personal incidents do not add another layer to a courier's working day. Weekly upkeep also keeps its existing rules.

Lock up near Bay Street

After riding your e-scooter to an open nearby Paceville venue, choose Lock up before starting your activity. It is free, takes ten seconds and prevents theft for that visit. Leaving it unlocked shows the risk before you make that choice.

Bay Street itself remains a coming-soon building site. This happens outside it, during visits to places that are already open. For ideas for the evening, see Paceville nights.

If the scooter goes missing, report it free in Cars. It returns 24 hours after the report, with the same age and value. Repeating the report does not restart the clock. This is a game recovery rule; ordinary journey planning and your other belongings remain available during the wait.

For the rest of your garage, read investments and working vehicles. The phone guide explains where to find the apps, and the Malta life simulator guide covers the wider game. For real-world travel information, consult Transport Malta. Ready for your next ride? Play Malta Living free.
