The Point: five clothes shops in Sliema, in Malta Living's Boutique
If you've been after a clothes shop game where what you buy actually goes on your character, Boutique in Malta Living has grown. The phone's clothes app is now The Point, the mall in Sliema, with five shops instead of one and eighteen new pieces to wear. Everything is bought with game euros, one buy gets you every colour for good, and the basics stay free.

Five shops, five styles
Zara is still there under its real name, with the classics. The other four are the game's own, each with a style of its own:
- Second Spin is vintage: a bowling shirt, a chunky cardigan, cord trousers, and houndstooth and paisley patterns.
- Nightshade is goth and alt: a corset top, a fishnet sleeve top, ripped jeans, tartan, and a studded leather jacket.
- Ollie & Co. is skate: a big graphic tee, an open flannel shirt, cargo trousers and camo. The skate shoes for the Msida Skatepark are sold here too.
- Sport & Sea is sporty: a crop top for the gym, and the free gym and beach basics.
Zara also gets a band club shirt in parish colours for the festa season, a knit vest and a pencil skirt for work, and a velvet tuxedo jacket for a gala.
Narrow it down
The shop strip runs along the top. Tap a shop to see only its pieces, or leave it on All shops. Under it, two rows of chips narrow the list further: Style (Classic, Vintage, Goth & alt, Skate, Sporty) and For (Work, Night out, Date night, Gala, Festa, Beach, Gym, Everyday, Sleep). Pick Vintage and Work, and you get Second Spin's cords and houndstooth. If a mix of chips leaves nothing, the shop says so and tells you which chip to tap.
The All, For sale, Owned and Free filter still works with all of it, so a piece you bought stays in the shop, marked as yours.
What it costs
Everyday pieces cost about a shift's pay: the patterns are €20, most new tops €25 to €35, and the corset top €55. Two are worth saving for: the studded leather jacket at €420 and the velvet tuxedo jacket at €480. You can try anything on your own character before you pay, in any of the eighteen colours.
Your bank statement now names the shop you bought from, so "Nightshade: Corset top" sits where it used to say Zara for everything.
The new pieces count for dress codes
Some places care what you wear, as Dress the part explains. The new pieces made for an occasion count for its dress code: the bowling shirt, the fishnet sleeve top, the corset top and the studded jacket for a night out; the velvet tuxedo jacket and the corset for a gala; the band club shirt at a festa; the crop top at the gym; and the knit vest, cords and pencil skirt at work. Every code still has a free outfit that fits, and a bought piece never counts for more than a free one.
For cheaper finds, the thrift shops in Qormi and Żabbar sell some of these pieces second-hand, and Ink Studio in Birkirkara will finish the look with a tattoo. The Point itself sits at the tip of Tigné Point in Sliema. For everything else in the game, start with the Malta life simulator guide.
Questions people ask
Do I have to buy clothes to play?
No. The basics are free for everyone: T-shirts, vest tops, shirts, hoodies, dresses, jeans, chinos, shorts, skirts, the ready-made outfits and the uniforms. The new pieces are for when you want a style of your own.
Can I buy clothes with real money?
No. Every piece at The Point costs game euros. You earn them from shifts, odd jobs and your businesses.
If I buy a top, do I get every colour?
Yes. One buy gets the piece in all eighteen colours, for good, and a pattern you own goes on any top you own.
