You told us, we fixed it: October 2026
Most fixes are small and quiet: a button that moves, a screen that loads faster. They go in What's new and that's enough. Some are different, because a player took the time to tell us something was wrong, and because they make the game fairer or more like the island it's set on. These are the fixes from player feedback we made in October. You'll find a list like this here every month.

Malta's flag, with its George Cross
A player spotted it: the flag the game drew had no George Cross. Every flag in the game, from the sign-up and loading screens to the map's logo and Festa Fight's flag, is now white at the pole and red beyond, with the George Cross edged in red in the top-left corner of the white half. A small thing to get wrong, and an easy one to put right.
Pastizzi look like pastizzi
Pastizzi places on the map used to show a croissant. They now show a proper pastizz, drawn for the game, everywhere it appears: the map, the place cards and the activity screen at Is-Serkin. Anyone who has queued in Rabat at midnight knows the difference.
You asked for it: Bald, Shaved and twelve skin tones
Players asked for more ways to look like themselves. Change your look now has Bald and Shaved hair, and twelve skin tones, from the lightest to the deepest. Nothing changes for looks people already had.
Money that's fairer and clearer
- Every play says what it really did. At the Casino and the Lottery House, every spin, hand, scratch card and bet slip now shows what it cost, what came back and your net change. Counting cards says the bet and the real win, "Bet €750 · win +€500", in Updates and in Record too, never €1,250 alone as if it were pay.
- No house cut between friends. When you bet a friend or fight their ghost for chips, the winner takes the whole pot.
- The Top 10 counts money you were sent. Your place follows your real net worth, gifts included.
- Welcome gifts, paid late, with a sorry. Some invited friends never got their €250 welcome gift, and their inviters missed their reward. We paid every one of them, and told everyone what had happened.
- The link you sign up through counts. A new account made through a friend's invite link is always that friend's, even if the phone had opened someone else's link before.
Moving is cheaper
Renting a home through an agency took a month's rent as the deposit, which made moving up the ladder harder than it should be. Now it's one week's. Moving into Sliema takes €1,067 instead of €2,067. Anyone already renting gets their deposit back in full when they move on. Renting in Sliema has the rest.
Tombla you can follow
Tombla called a number every 4 seconds, too fast to mark a card on a phone. Now it's every 7 seconds, the last seven calls stay on show, you tap a called number to stamp it, and an Auto-mark switch does it for you. More on it in the Games guide.
Updates that don't interrupt
A new version no longer takes over your screen. A quiet "A new version is ready · Update" pill waits until you tap it, and each update downloads less, because the parts that don't change stay on your phone.
Solar that's worth it
With solar panels, a power cut is now just a note: no pop-up, and the 10:00 surge breaks nothing in your home.
