Vote on game ideas: the Malta Living community is open
Want a ferry to Comino for a beach day, or night buses after the clubs close? Now you can vote on game ideas and tell us what to build next. The Malta Living community is open at community.maltaliving.world: ideas you vote on, bugs you can say Me too to, and a public roadmap that shows where each idea is. It's the place for everything players post. This blog is where the team writes; the community is where you do.

Ideas, Bugs and the Roadmap
The community has three tabs.
- Ideas. Anyone can post one. Sort them by Top, Trending or New, or look at what's Planned, Building or Shipped. Search finds an idea before you post a second copy of it.
- Bugs. Something broke? Post it with what you did, what happened and where in Malta. Instead of votes, bugs get Me too, as many as you like, so the team sees which ones hit the most players.
- Roadmap. Planned, Building and Shipped in one place, each with its votes and the team's latest reply.
You can read all of it without signing in. Voting, Me too, commenting and posting need your Malta Living account: the same username and password as in Malta Living, the free Malta life simulator. You don't need to open the game, and if you don't play yet, you can make an account right there, with the game's own sign-up and its 18+ tick.
How voting works
Every account has 10 votes to give. One vote per idea, and tap again to take it back. Posting an idea gives it one of your votes if you have one left. When an idea ships, turns out to be in the game already, or is closed as Not for now, its votes come back to you to use again, and the idea keeps its count.
New accounts can vote and say Me too straight away; their votes start to count three days after the account was made. That keeps a flood of new accounts from pushing one idea to the top overnight.
The limits are there to keep the boards useful: titles of 8 to 90 characters, details up to 2,000 and comments up to 800, with three posts, 30 comments and 60 votes a day.
From an idea to Shipped
Every idea moves along one track: Under review, Planned, Building, Shipped. It can also close as Already in the game or Not for now, always with a reason. Bugs have their own names for the same steps: New, Confirmed, Fixing, Fixed, Not a bug, Can't find it.
Only the team changes a status, and every change comes with a public reply from the MaltaLiving Team, so you always know why. Votes decide what we look at first; the team decides what we build, because money, safety and the law come first. When an idea ships, its page links to the update in What's new.
Posting from the game
You don't have to leave the game to post. On your phone, the Feedback app now has a second button under Send feedback: Post it publicly so others can vote for an idea, or so others can say Me too for a bug. It opens the community's post form with your words already in it. Sending privately is still there, and it's still the right way for anything about your own account or money. The phone apps guide shows where Feedback sits.
Keeping it friendly
The community uses the same reasons to report as game chat: rude or hateful, bullying, spam or scam, sharing real-life info, sexual content, or something involving a child. Community moderators can hide a post, merge duplicates and mute someone for an hour or a day. Three reports from different, established accounts hide a post until someone looks. It's the same spirit as making friends in a multiplayer life sim: be kind, and keep it about the game.
Every blog post now ends with Discuss this, which opens that post's own thread on the community. Tell us what we got wrong, or what you'd add. And if you haven't started a life yet, play Malta Living free in your browser first, then come back and vote.
Questions people ask
How do I suggest a feature for Malta Living?
Post it on the Ideas tab at community.maltaliving.world, or tap Post it publicly in the game's Feedback app. Other players vote on it, and the team replies when its status changes.
How many votes do I get on the community?
Ten. Votes on an idea that ships or closes come back to you, so you can give them again.
Where do I report a bug in Malta Living?
On the Bugs tab, or from the Feedback app in the game. For anything about your own account or money, send it privately with Feedback, so the team can check your account.
Do I need a separate account for the community?
No. Sign in with your Malta Living username and password. If you don't have one yet, the community's sign-in sheet makes one with the game's own sign-up.
