Asked in on a bank job? One sheet, then ride there

By

When a friend asks you in on a bank job, saying yes should take one look and one tap. In Malta Living, the free life sim you play in your browser, you can now join a heist crew from a single sheet: it shows your part and a mask, and you ride or walk there.

The join sheet: who's asking and for which part, your part in one line, a mask to buy or skip, then ride or walk there

One sheet to say yes

A friend's invite pops up wherever you are in the game, and as a push on your phone if you've got the app. Tap it and the job's sheet opens. It says who's asking and which part is yours: the first one nobody has taken yet. One line says what that part plays.

No mask? Tick it on the sheet and Mario drops one off, for the same €200 as at Club Shady. Already have one? The sheet says so. Then pick how to get there: I'm in · ride there books an eCab, with its real fare and time, and I'm in · walk is free. Already at the bank? It's one I'm in. Not tonight says no, and they stop asking.

Late? You still play

A crew with no timer waits for everyone. But if the lead starts it, or a timer runs out, while you're still in the cab, you're not dropped any more. You join at your part when you get to the bank. Whatever your part had before you arrived was covered by the crew, and the rest is yours. Everyone's share is split again with you in it. Only someone who'd arrive after the job's over is left out, and they lose nothing.

The lobby shows how far away each person is, like 🚕 0:40, so the lead knows whether to wait.

That's also why your seat is kept if you arrive late: the crew planned the job with you in it, and the sheet already told you which part you'd play. Nobody has to find a stranger at the last minute.

Leaving mid-job

Before the start, leaving the crew is free. Once the job is on, you can still walk out, but it costs you. Your share stays in the vault, the crew's alarm goes up by 10, and whatever's left of your part goes to the crew. You're free at once and never counted caught. Alone, there's no walking out: it's your job.

The bank heist with friends guide covers invites in full, and alone or with a crew covers the lobby. The bank heist game guide explains every part. New to the island? Start with the Malta life simulator guide. A crew member who arrives late is a heist-film classic (Wikipedia: heist film).
