Your next job starts with a hello
Job interviews in Malta Living begin with a little conversation. Open Jobs on your phone, choose a role and tap Apply. Before you take the offer, your next manager asks about two everyday moments from the workplace. There is time to think, a useful explanation when something goes wrong, and a clear choice about accepting the job.
It is one more small story in Malta Living, the life simulator: finding your place, getting to know a role and deciding what kind of working day you want. The existing careers, pay and promotion ladder still sits behind each job.

Two questions, at your pace
The conversation has no timer. Read the situation, tap one of its two answers, then continue. You can think for a moment without watching a clock run down. Both answers are checked when you send them, rather than changing your job after the first tap.
The questions fit the work. A restaurant might ask how you would check a guest’s concern or make a busy walkway safe. A support role might ask about protecting a customer’s details or finding the right information. These are everyday choices about care and judgement, rather than a test of specialist facts you have never been taught.
Questions come from a small bank for the kind of job. A new attempt uses other moments before repeating the previous pair, and the answer order can change. Reading the situation matters more than remembering which button was on top.
Your current job stays yours
You can explore another role while you are employed. Opening its details, starting the conversation and answering the questions do not resign your current job. Close the sheet if you want to think about it, and your role remains where you left it.
Getting both answers right brings you to an offer. You can see the role, its workplace, the pay per shift and the work days before deciding. Only Accept offer changes your job. The offer explains that moving to a different career begins at its first rank; it is a choice worth making deliberately.
The same idea helps someone who has just arrived. A tourist can reach a job offer, but still needs the existing papers before working. Our tourist and permit guide explains that next step. Passing an interview does not replace the job’s skills, documents or other entry requirements.
A useful second chance
If either answer needs more care, the manager explains what to think about next time. The application waits five minutes before another attempt. You can close the conversation and enjoy something else while that time passes; there is no fee and no need to leave the screen open.
The failed application does not remove your current job. When the wait ends, return to the role and try another short conversation. Between applications, the daily missions and odd jobs are other ways to fill a day on the island.
An offer, then the familiar first day
After you accept, your employer handles the existing Jobsplus registration. Jobsplus is Malta’s public employment service; in the game, the registration already belongs to taking a job. The new conversation leads into that same step rather than adding a separate paperwork trip.
Your first day is tomorrow, as before. The interview does not add another paid shift, change the career’s pay or skip promotion requirements. Your new job appears in Jobs with the next step clearly shown. Play Malta Living free and open your phone when you are ready to meet a manager.
Questions people ask
Do job interview questions have a time limit?
No. The two questions are untimed, so you can read each situation before choosing an answer.
Does applying for another role make me leave my current job?
No. Your current role stays yours until you choose to accept a new offer. The offer explains the change before you confirm it.
What happens after an unsuccessful job interview?
You get feedback and can try again after five minutes. There is no fee, and the failed application does not take away your current job.
