Report cards, class rank and streaks in Malta Living
Classes at the University of Malta and the Lifelong Learning Hub already teach something real in every lesson. Now there's a reason to come back each day too: a school report card in a life sim that never fails you, a weekly class rank, and a streak.

Stars
Everything here runs on stars, and you already earn them. Each round of a lesson you get right first time is a star. If a friend sits next to you as your study buddy, that class gives one more. A copied round is never right first time, so copying won't move you up.
Your class rank
Every course has a class rank for the week, from Monday morning to Sunday night: the stars each person on it has earned. Your friends come first, then the top of the class. The rank only shows once three or more people are on a course; with just two of you, you see each other's stars side by side. Ties go to whoever got there first.
The top three on a course with at least one star are Top of the class for the next week. It shows as a gold chip on their profile and a badge in Learn. Nobody you've blocked, or who's blocked you, ever shows up in your rank.
Your streak
Your class streak counts days in a row with a class. Days your courses don't teach never break it: Sundays, public holidays, the Hub's closed days. Today doesn't break it either, until the day is over. You'll see a 🔥 from two days on your card, your rank and your profile, with badges at 7 and 30 days.
The Friday report card
Every Friday at 18:00 your report card is in, for the week so far. You'll find it in Updates on your phone, in the Hub's and the University's panels, and in Learn under Mine. It shows:
- Each course you had a class in: your days (Maltese as dots), lectures, stars, and your rank once there are three of you.
- A grade that's never below Good: Brilliant for four stars a class or more, Great from two and a half, otherwise Good. Finish a course that week and it says Graduated 🎓 instead.
- Conduct: Angel if nothing was caught, Chatty for a note or a doodle, Cheeky for a copy, a sneak out or a nap, and Lines written after detention.
- The teacher's word: Josephine for a course at the Hub, Ġanni for the University, about your week, like "Bright, quick, and far too fond of passing notes."
Share my report card sends it to friends: your courses, grades, Conduct and streak, never money or pay. A week with no class has no card.
Why no fails
School in Malta Living is something you choose to do between work and the beach. A card that only ever says Good, Great or Brilliant rewards turning up and trying, not grinding, so the lowest grade is Good. Malta's own schools report in plain words alongside marks too (Ministry for Education).
Studying Maltese? It all counts towards Maltese phrases you'll use around the island. A degree also opens doors in jobs and careers.

Questions people ask
When does the report card come out?
Every Friday at 18:00 Malta time, for that week from Monday. It stays until the next Friday at 18:00. You get one only if you had at least one class that week.
How is the class rank worked out?
By stars that week on each course: rounds right first time, plus one for a class with a study buddy. Ties go to whoever got there first, and the rank shows once three or more people are on the course.
Can I fail a course?
No. The lowest grade is Good. Brilliant needs an average of four stars a class, and Great two and a half.
What breaks my class streak?
Only a day your courses teach and you didn't go. Sundays, holidays and days your courses don't teach never break it.
