Follow the clue: a clearer Daily hunt
The Daily hunt in Malta Living has a warmer look, with today's clue and the four prize bands easier to read together. Open Phone → Earn → Daily hunt, read what is hiding behind the clue, then use Search for it to open the familiar search card where you are.
The change is in the presentation. The cross still hides at one place, and the existing search decides whether you have found it. The page keeps the clue, finder count and prize information in view, while the compact search card leaves room for the place around it.

Begin with today's clue
Your clue sits in its own cream card. The current finder count stays with it, so you can see how the day's search is going before you set off. The prize bands are listed beneath, with the first band picked out in warm gold.
These are the same bands the hunt already uses. Finding the cross earlier can pay more, and the page keeps that distinction visible. There is no extra reward to collect from the new layout, and no new button that guesses the answer for you.
If you are new to the app, the Earn guide explains how the hunt sits beside daily missions, stories and other ways to make progress. The phone guide shows where those apps live.
Search from the place you are in
Search for it opens the existing search card over the world. The clue, finder count and prize bands stay available there too. Its Search button uses the place you are actually in, so you can check a possibility without losing the clue you were following.
At home, the card explains that the cross is out on the map. If you are busy, it tells you to finish that activity first. Those messages remain part of the button, with the disabled state clearly visible. Once the block is gone, the usual search is available again.
A long clue or reply can scroll inside the card on a smaller screen. Close stays a normal button, and a tap on the backdrop closes the card as before. You can return to the hunt page from Earn whenever you want to read the information again.
A wrong turn is part of the hunt
Searching the wrong place keeps the clue available and shows the existing reply to read it again. The refreshed card gives that reply its own quiet space above the action, so it does not get mixed up with the clue or the prizes.
When you find the cross, the card shows the found state. After reopening Earn, your hunt page shows your rank for the day and says that a new cross hides at midnight. Reloading keeps the result; the new look does not create another search or payout for a cross you already found.
The eight-pointed cross is a familiar symbol on the islands. The Order of Malta's history of the cross describes its presence in buildings, artworks and Malta's coins. In the game, it gives the daily search a recognisable little thing to look for as you explore.
