Your week in Malta: a card every Sunday, real numbers only

By

Every Sunday evening, your week in a life sim can be a card worth sharing. In Malta Living, the free life sim you play in your browser, the first time you open the game from Sunday 18:00 (or on Monday) you get a note in Messages: your week in Malta is ready. Tap See it on the note, or open Phone, then Record, and tap Your week.

Record opens on Your week in Malta: a purple and pink card with the places you went, new friends and days played, and a Share my week button

What's on the card

The card counts what really happened. The places you went (venues, not your own home), the new friends you made that week, the days you played out of seven, and whether you were the Regular of the week. If you had a real best moment, like your first trip to Gozo or a new home, it's on the card. If you didn't, there's no best moment line: nothing is made up to fill the space.

A quiet week makes no card

If you went nowhere new, made no friends and had no moment, there's nothing real to show, so there's no card and no Share button. Record says "Quiet week. Go somewhere new and I'll make next week's." Nobody is nudged to post an empty card.

Share my week

The share is meant to be easy to post, so it asks nothing of you except a tap.

Share my week opens your phone's share sheet with a short line like "📅 My week in Malta · 11 places · 3 new friends" and your link. The link carries your name, so a friend who joins through it counts as your invite, with the same welcome and limits as any shared link in the game. A friend who opens it, signed out, sees "@you's week in Malta", your two counts and Play free. That's all: the share is what lets the page show your counts, so a week you haven't shared shows nothing of you. There's no money on the card, and it never names other people or the places you went.

Your places stay yours

Which places you went to is location history, so it's kept small. The game remembers only that you went somewhere that week, not when or how often, and forgets it after five weeks. Only you can see it on your own card. Places are counted from the day this began, so the first card says "Places counted since" that day, and there's no card for a week that ended before it.

The card is made when you open the game, not for everyone at once, and it's remembered so you get one note a week. A weekly recap is a format Spotify Wrapped made familiar.

Questions people ask

When is my week ready?

From Sunday 18:00, Malta time, and all Monday, the first time you open the game. You get one note in Messages, then the card is in Phone, then Record.

What counts as a place?

A venue you travelled to that week, not your home or a stop. Each place counts once a week, however many times you went.

Who can see where I went?

Only you, on your own card. The share sends the counts, not the place names, and only for the week you shared.

What if I had a quiet week?

There's no card and no Share button. The game says so and waits for next week.
