Pull up a chair: Nanna remembers your little stories
Chat with Nanna now gives a small everyday visit a little continuity. At your own family home, choose Stay for a conversation, tell her what has been happening in your kitchen, and hear a specific reply. If you leave Remember this topic on, a later conversation can pick up that thread.
You can also choose Just a quick chat. Sometimes a hello is all you have time for, and that route keeps your usual action. This optional story is one more quiet thing to enjoy in the Malta Living life simulator.

Start at your own family home
This conversation belongs to the existing Chat with Nanna action for a local living at the family home. It does not turn another player's chat into an NPC conversation, change Mum's cooking, or make Nanna appear in every home. Your current home and action access still apply.
The first question is simple: what have you been making in your kitchen lately? Tomato rice, pastizzi, or finding your feet are all good answers. There is no correct personality to discover and no score to optimise. Nanna answers the topic you choose with a small observation of her own.
If that makes you want to cook, the tomato-rice cooking guide explains the separate kitchen action. Choosing a topic here does not claim that you actually cooked it, use ingredients, or inspect what is in your fridge. For a little wider food context, Visit Malta's food and drink guide introduces the island's familiar dishes and pastries.
A later visit has a familiar thread
After choosing a remembered topic, you can leave with Back to room. On a later eligible conversation, Nanna can ask how that particular kitchen adventure went. Tell her it went well, admit it was a small disaster, or move on to something else.
Both the success and mishap replies are warm. There is no relationship penalty for choosing an imperfect result, no missed-day punishment and no attendance streak to protect. An older topic gets timeless wording rather than a claim about when you last played. You can take the conversation at your own pace.
This is a short authored exchange, with a small set of topics. It is not an endless generated conversation or a new real-player messaging system. For time with other players, house parties and visits and clubs, friends and Gossip keep their own existing flows.
You choose what is remembered
The memory control is visible alongside the topic choices. Turn it off if you only want today's reply. A remembered topic appears by name, with Change and Forget available. Forgetting clears the active topic; you can begin a fresh thread later.
Only your explicit topic, its small content version and the server's update stamp are kept for this life. No personal messages, cooking history or inferred interests are collected for the conversation. Starting a new life does not carry its predecessor's thread into the new household. Your compact saved state is included in the game's data download and removed by existing account erasure, as explained in your account and data.
Questions people ask
Does the longer conversation give extra rewards?
No. Either route starts your usual chat once. Extra replies, changing a topic or forgetting it do not award more needs, skill points or euros. Closing the conversation does not undo an action the server already accepted.
Can I keep using the quick chat?
Yes. It stays available at entry and where the conversation offers it, under the normal action's current access rules. If the optional story cannot load, the usual route remains available when the game would normally allow it.
What if saving or starting loses its connection?
Use the offered retry. A chat retry confirms the same attempt rather than deliberately starting a second action. A topic-save retry retries only the chosen topic. A lost save answer may already have gone through: Check saved topic reads what Nanna currently remembers, without undoing an accepted choice. You can then use Forget if you want to clear it. If another device changed the topic meanwhile, the conversation shows that change and lets you choose again.
