Become a Malta Living ambassador: apply in Earn and climb five ranks
Malta Living now has a game ambassador programme. If you already bring your friends to the game and tell people about it, you can now do it as an ambassador. Ambassadors are players the team picks to help the game grow: they share it where they already are, bring friends who stay, and climb five ranks as they do. The first group has 10 places.

Who can apply
Open Earn on your phone. The Become an ambassador banner sits at the top, with four checks under it:
- 18+, the box you ticked when you signed up.
- A week in Malta: your account is at least 7 days old.
- 4 of 7 days played: you've played on 4 of the last 7 days.
- All clear for 90 days: no mute, ban or held invite in that time.
Each check is green when you have it, or grey with what's left ("2 more days in Malta"). Apply unlocks when all four are green.
Three short steps
There's no long form. You tap tiles and chips, and type one line:
- Where do you share? Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, Facebook, Reddit, your uni or college, work, or real-life events. Pick all that fit. You can add a link to a public profile too; only the team sees it.
- About you. How many people you reach, what you'd do first (post about it, invite your friends, run a game night, make videos, help newcomers), and one line on why you.
- The ambassador code. Six tiles to tap: mark every post #ad, one account, no spam, no betting, 18+ only, and game euros stay in the game. Send unlocks when all six are ticked.
Marking posts #ad isn't just our rule: the EU's Influencer Legal Hub explains why anyone promoting something they get perks for should say so.
What happens next
The team reads every application and replies within a week. Earn shows where yours is: applied, on the waiting list, or, if it isn't this time, a kind reason and the date you can try again (30 days later). You can withdraw it while it's waiting.
When you're accepted, three things happen at once. A notification arrives, a welcome from the team waits in Messages, and an Ambassador app appears on your phone with a red 1 and a New tag. It takes Gigs' place in the second row, and Gigs moves to row 6. Nobody else's phone changes.
Five ranks
Everyone starts at rank 1, Local voice. Each rank has a goal for the calendar month: friends who stay (they play 4 different days in their first week, as with inviting friends), posts, and events you host in the game.
- Local voice: 2 friends who stay and 2 posts.
- Connector: 4 friends, 3 posts and 1 event.
- Ambassador: 6 friends, 4 posts and 1 event.
- Senior ambassador: 10 friends, 6 posts and 2 events.
- Island ambassador: picked by the team, 3 places.
The Ambassador app shows the ladder, where you are on it, and the code. Hit your rank's goal and you move up on the 8th of the next month. Perks, your share kit and counting your goals arrive in the app over the coming weeks.
Your friends still earn the usual invite rewards, and so do you, as Earn explains. If you'd rather meet people in the game first, clubs and Gossip are where most players start, and the phone apps guide covers everything else on your phone. New to the game? Start with the Malta life simulator guide.
Questions people ask
Do I need lots of followers?
No. Reach is one of the questions, but a uni society, an office group or a group of friends who'd play counts as much as a big account.
Can I apply again if I'm not picked?
Yes, 30 days after a decline. Earn shows the date.
Can I take a break?
Yes. The team can pause you for a break and your rank is kept. You can also leave from the Ambassador app's code tab, and apply again later.
